Changing Activity Type To Start Milestone Using "Activity Type" Column In Standard View Deletes All Relationships (Doc ID 2252910.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Changing activity type to start milestone using "Activity Type" column in Standard View deletes all activities' relationships.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The activities' relationships should remain the same.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open Standard view
  2. Create a new project
  3. Change to "Activities view"
  4. Go in to Customize View
    1. Columns: Add column "Activity Type"
    2. Grouping: Uncheck "Hide if Empty"
    3. Save view
  5. Create three new activities
  6. Save activities
  7. Link activities Finish to Start
  8. Save
  9. Schedule project
  10. Check that there are links between the activities
  11. Create another activity
  12. Save
  13. Change activity type on the recently added activity
    1. In Activity Type column choose Start Milestone
    2. In "Confirm Invalid relationships will be removed. Do you want to continue?" Click on Yes
  14. Save
  15. Check if there still is links between previous three activities, all links are removed
  16. To be sure Schedule project and all activities will be back on Data Date
