Sku Suddenly not Being Associated with Product Variant (Doc ID 2253480.1)

Symptoms

There are two ways to notice if the SKU has disassociated itself from the product Variant:

  1. In the storefront, the SKU swatch or selection will not be available to select
  2. In Admin, the SKU will have dashed lines throughout all product variants
