Symptoms

Customer is currently on Signal version 7.3.
The proposed solution applies to version 8.0.0.0.178.

Steps to reproduce your problem:

login

navigate to Topics tab

click 'Select Rows'

click 'Select All'

Click 'Reports'

click 'Topics by Action Due Date'

choose 'Overdue' or Closed'

Click 'View Report'

Test results:

Selecting 999 items did not throw an error.
Selecting 1000 items did not throw an error.
Selecting 1001 items generated the error.

 Running topic reports: 'Topics by Action Due Date' or 'Topics by State' both fail with the following error message when selecting more than 1000 Topics:
