Goal

Have implemented the UK Statutory Absence solution following the guidelines documented in 'UK Statutory Absences Implementation and Functional Considerations' (<Note 2235239.1> - Setting Up and Migrating UK Statutory Absences).
Have the requirement to offset any occupational absence payments by the statutory absence payments where they are due. However, we can not find a way of referencing the stat absence payments that are due for a specific days of absence.

e.g. Employee is sick from 19/4/17 - 26/4/17.
They receive 6 days of OSP, and are due 3 days of SSP.
The first 3 OSP days are also waiting days, so I do not need to offset SSP, whereas the last 3 days have SSP payments so I do need to offset SSP. As absence payments are calculated by standard on a daily basis, I can not find any way of identifying from the OSP the related SSP for that day.
This issue also applies to other absence types, such as SMP, SPP etc.

The absence document provided by Oracle suggests using Information elements to record offset the amounts, but I am unclear how this will help.

Please can you provide a solution on how Occupational absence payments can be offset by Statutory absence payments?
