Symptoms

When trying to invoke the UCM web service to upload files to Fusion Applications UCM server to be used by HDL, the process fails because a connection to UCM server cannot be established. The error below is thrown by the client application, even though needed certificates exist in its trust keystore:


The error occurs only if 2-way SSL is configured and the client application invoking the web service connects directly to UCM server, so any intermediate layers (load balancer, OHS) are bypassed
