Changed A Valueset From Precision 8 To 18, Get ErrorThe Total Number Of Digits Cannot Exceed 8

1. Go to Setup and Maintenance.
2. Search Manage Extensible Flexfields then go to the task.
3. Search for the EFF with Name = ‘Fulfillment Line Information’, Flexfield Code = ‘DOO_FULFILL_LINES_ADD_INFO’.
4. Go to Manage Contexts. Define a Context with Code= ‘LinePrcOverride’ with one Context Sensitive Segment Name = “SalePrcOverrideVal” with data type ‘Number’
Here will associate a valueset with the saleprcoverrideval.

5. Edit the value set, set the precision =18, scale max=10, min=blank
6. Save all and Deploy the EFF
7. Publish Extensible Flexfield Attributes

Enter the number more than 8 digits get error:
The total number of digits cannot exceed 8, and the number of digits to the right of the decimal point cannot exceed *. (FND-3113)
