On: version, Opportunities
Relationship import in Opportunity.
We have created custom relationship of Opportunity to opportunity i.e. one parent opportunity can have multiple child opportunities. This relationship creates one custom field on opportunity record which stores the OpportunityId of parent object in child record. This works fine.
Now our requirement is to import child opportunities with its respective parent opportunities on daily basis via scheduled import integration. Here we need to provide Opportunity ID which is system generated. To provide OpportunityID we will have to export opportunity data on daily basis and vlookup optyID every time. So getting opportunityID will be a complex operation for Client to do. We are using user defined value for "OpportunityNumber" while importing opportunities. So we just wanted to know if we can create above relationship using OpportunityNumber.
If it is possible then can you provide us steps to perform it??
Is there any workaround for above scenario??
