SSO and Deeplinks: Using a URL to invoke SSO while Deeplinking to a Task/Action (Doc ID 2260735.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 10, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Taleo Platform Cloud Service - SmartOrg (Central Configuration) - Version 15A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The current process and zone behavior for a customer is that when their hiring managers get an email notification for an action that needs to be carried out in Taleo, the email contains a link.  Clicking on the link takes the hiring manager to the Taleo TEE zone login.  After logging in the user is then taken to the relevant task or action, e.g. "list of eligible candidates".

Question: Is there a way to utilize Single sign-on (SSO) such that a link can take the user to the task/action without the Taleo login step?  (The received email link would invoke SSO behavior to bypass the Taleo login and also take the the user to the task or action?)
