Symptoms

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Global Payroll
 
When attempting to run ‘Run XXX Retro Element Entry Report’ for April 2017, the process failed with error.
Cannot access the PDF report. Tried to access the report from OBI but received a java error.

ERROR

java.sql.SQLDataException: ORA-01830 date format picture ends before converting entire input sting

and Erorr in BI log:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run XXX Retro Element Entry Report
2.  Click Go to Task on third row
• Processes and Reports tab, click on glasses then the pdf link

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, payroll department is unable to validate the results and therefore they cannot calculate payroll effecting the whole population,.Employees will not be paid unless they can validate the retro data.
