Last updated on APRIL 23, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud Service - Version 11.1.11.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The Work Orders creation in an ATO cloud environment is governed as per the schedule ship date.
The Work Order completion date is the schedule ship date and its start date is derived based on operation lead times in Work Definition.
How customer can control the Work Order creation date?

Consider the following scenario:
Sales Order Submission Date: Apr 25
Sales Order Schedule Ship Date: Jul 05
WO Completion Date: Jul 05
WO Start Date: Jul 03 (assuming 2 days lead time)
WO Creation Date: Apr 25

How customer can define the work order not to be created on Apr 25, but rather to be created on some date closer to Jul 03 date?
