Symptoms
When attempting to launch P6 Professional, the following error occurs prior to the login window loading:
ERROR
Exception EAccessViolation in module PM.exe at 0000000002782FAF. Access violation at address 0000000002782FAF in module 'PM.exe'. read of address 0000000000000000.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch P6 Professional from the Windows start menu.
2. Note the error which occurs prior to the application launching.

The issue has the following business impact:
This issue is preventing the ability to login, causing a system down issue for one particular user. Note, this is not a widespread occurrence.
