Goal

Fusion Applications R12 offers Security Console feature that can be used to do the User/Role/Security Policies management within Fusion Application. The Identity Management products - Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Authorization Policy Manager (APM) have been retired.

It is very much possible that an admin user could accidentally revoke the IT Security Manager role from his/her user account which would imply that he/she would NO longer be able to carry out Security Tasks in Fusion Application.

This document provides a solution to assign the IT Security Manager role to the admin user by using Fusion Applications Control (EM).
