ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
For an absence crossing tax years, the statutory absence payments calculated are not correct. For a payroll period crossing tax years, all days of absence are paid at the new year's rate rather than splitting this and using the relevant based on the date of the absence. This is the case for Sickness and Maternity (assumed to be the case for all).
