Goal

How to enable logging when working with Support.

This note describes how to:
1. Enable FINEST level Logging at USER level.
2. Enable PLSQL Logging at USER level

Support may instruct you to do this when analyzing complex issues.

NOTE: With the application of  22A, customers can no longer enable finest logging at the site level. Only Oracle can do this via EM.

In most cases,  User level logging is sufficient .  Site level logging is helpful in the case of SOA issues, support will be able to assist with setting this if required.

The Ability to change -  Site Level Logging - will be disabled after February 2022 on application of a P4FA patch.
