EDQ For Duplicate Leads

We have requirement where we want to inform / prompt the user about potential duplicate Lead name records in system while signed in user is creating a new Lead . As per the current EDQ process, on clicking on "Check for duplicate" action it checks for duplicate accounts and contacts irrespective of lead record.
We need a functionality where it can process lead name and its contact/Account. Please check the following scenarios.
1) Functionality where we can check for duplicate lead records ( records with same Lead name )
2) Lead records with identical contact and Accounts.
Can we can achieve this with current EDQ process?
