FA: SCM: OM: Order Header Details are not Defaulting to Order Lines When an Order is Copied. (Doc ID 2270648.1)

Last updated on MARCH 12, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Order Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.20.01.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Attributes changed on a Copied Order Header are not defaulting the Order Lines. An example of this is:

The User has amended the Order Header - Customer Ship-To Address, the Ship-To address is not changing on the Order Lines.

Note: This is a generic issue, if a order line is overridden then any changes made to header attributes will note be copied to the overridden order line, including attributes:

Payment Terms
Freight Codes,
etc.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy an existing order
2. Add the shipping address at header level
3. The shipping address is not updated at the line level.
