Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a customer creates a configured item, Order Management will check to see if an existing configuration matches the configuration entered. There is a requirement where the customer expects a new configuration to be created.
In this instance if a new configuration is created and this is an Engineer to Order scenario the engineering team may have to define the required item structure and work definition to make the custom built product ordered by the customer.
