Fusion Absence Management: Submitted Absence Leave Entry Modified by Manager Getting Denied Due to Employee Outstanding Transaction

(Doc ID 2278150.1)

Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version to [Release 1.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Absence Transactions

When the stale notification is expired, the absence status is getting into 'Denied'.

Once the absence is in Approved status, expiration of the open notification should not have any impact on the approved absence.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Employee submitted the leave. The leave has Awaiting approval status.
2. Employee's  manager login into the Fusion system: My Team -> Manage Absence Records, edit and submit the same absence that was created by employee.
3. The transaction goes through auto-approval as system thinks that manager submitted the transaction and it goes in Completed status.
4. At the same time there remains an open approval notification that is pending manager approval action that didn't respond to Email notification.
5. The notification expires in 15 days.
6. The notification which is still open will result in denial because the notification expired and then Employee will receive Email notification of Denial and the Absence Record is denied even though manager submitted it already.

Due to this issue,  the absence which has been forced to Approved status by manager is denied.
