Symptoms
You have installed DataSync as per the instructions on the Getting Started guide and you are using an operating system which does not support a system tray icon.
When you try open the client using datasyncClient.sh you get this error:
NOTE: The port listed might be different, your specific port is stored in the <DATASYNC_HOME>/conf-shared/server.properties file.
