Cannot Generate Keypair for wildcard certificate

The generate key pair fails with the error - no key pair is generated.

ERROR

Failed to create demo CA signed certificate for alias "name" for keystore system/identity. Error message: JPS-06543: Invalid Distinguished Name CN=*.example.net, O=organisation_name, Inc, L=Kent, ST=WA, C=US
