Goal

When enabling suspense accounts functionality, Oracle automatically configures the combination for Source and Category Other. When posting an unbalanced journal entry, Oracle balances the journal even though the combination is not configured since it uses Other for any combination of source and category not defined. We only need suspense accounts for certain combination of source and category. We do not want the system to automatically balance the journal for combinations not defined in the suspense accounts window. We tried to delete the combination source Other and category Other but it would not permit to eliminate.

How can be use the suspense account functionality only for certain combinations of source and category?
