Symptoms

Click the "Create Opportunity" button and it shows blank interface, without any error message.

Salesserver logs show error as "Message initializeOpportunityCreation: java.lang.NullPointerException"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator > Sales > Opportunities > Create Opportunity

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create new opportunities
