PVD Page Setup and Print Preview Dialog Window is Slow and is Intermittently Unresponsive (Doc ID 2286557.1)

P6 Professional Print preview, Page setup dialog become slow or unresponsive when the footer or the header is referencing an image (for a logo) that is stored in a network file location.

This hanging is also causing the Amyuni PDF printer (used for Primavera Virtual Desktop) to not render some of the PDF components.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log into P6 Professional (via SGD/PVD)
  2. Page Setup or Print preview
  3. Header/Footer
  4. Include an image that is stored on a network location.
