ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
After changing the Default Journal Category and Override Accounting Period for General Accounting Dashboard in General Ledger Preferences, the Default Journal Category is reverted to the previous value when saving and the Override Accounting Period for General Accounting Dashboard is not the one shown in the General Accounting Dashboard

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The changes in Default Journal Category should be taken and this default category should be shown in the Create Journal screen.
The Override Accounting Period for General Accounting Dashboard should be the selected period when visiting the General Accounting Dashboard.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigator
2. Set Preferences
3. General Ledger Preferences
4. Changing the Default Journal Category and Override Accounting Period for General Accounting Dashboard
5. Save.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot set correctly the preferences ans users need to enter the value for the preference in the General Accounting Dashboard and Create Journal.
