Unable to schedule the import of custom object, as fields are grayed-out

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer created a custom object and wants to create a flow in which the custom object import can be scheduled and the file picked from UCM content server.
However, in the import wizard, the Start Date, Repeat Frequency, Repeat Unit and End Date are grayed-out, as seen below:
