Fusion Absence Management: No Data Returned in Global Absence Accrual Event Formula that Uses PER_HIST_ASG_EFFECTIVE_START_DATE Dbi (Doc ID 2288594.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version 11.12.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

As recommended in the Oracle absence white paper we have configured a Global Absence Accrual Event formula that identifies changes in assignments through using the array DBI PER_HIST_ASG_EFFECTIVE_START_DATE. The issue is that this DBI uses a secure view on the assignments table (PER_ASSIGNMENT_SECURED_LIST_V), and some employees are not being retrieved via this secure view.

What security needs to be setup so that all employees can be seen through the DBI PER_HIST_ASG_EFFECTIVE_START_DATE?
