Passport: Candidate History tab mentions "error message" but the service's provider did not return an error (Doc ID 2288779.1)

This article discusses why the Candidate History for a screening service has "error message" when the request was successful.


A candidate that has had a Passport service requested may have the following message appear in the submission history tab (Screening Services event):

However, the details of the request (Job Submission) shows no error.  If the service's provider is contacted they report that they did not return an error.  When support looks at the transaction using an internal tool, there is no error there.
