Issue modifying printable page layout for total compensation statement

I'm trying to modify the rtf template for the printable page on the total compensation statement. I've just replaced the logo and modified some text, and saved the report/layout/rtf name exactly as it was before. However, when the pdf gets downloaded, I get the message that the pdf cannont be opened because its not supported or the file has been damaged.
