Industry Value not Displayed on Details page After Account Creation

Create an account, and on the account creation page add an industry. Click Save and Continue and when the profile page displays, you can see that the industry is not carried over.

It is expected that the industry would carry over.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Create account
Fill in all required fields
Put in an industry
Save and Continue
Industry field is empty on profile page

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot understand why the industry is not being carried over.
