This document outlines the implementation and configuration steps that are required to integrate account origination processes in Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC) and Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) with Siebel Universal Customer Master (UCM) as master data management solution.


The overall scope is to support account origination from Oracle Sales Cloud using Oracle Banking Platform for use cases such as customer onboarding, opportunity submission, application form, application tracker, and financial account display in Customer 360 view. The bi-directional account and contact integration and uni-directional integration of financial account is designed to support customers to take advantage of the latest capabilities of the Oracle Sales Cloud application and Oracle Banking Platform, but still leverage their existing investment in an on-premise customer relationship management (CRM) system. It assumes that the implementer is familiar with Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud Services (ICS), Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Foundation pack, Siebel Universal Customer Master administration, Oracle Sales Cloud Application Composer, and Groovy scripting.
