Fields in Analytics Still Visible Even After Removed From Unifier Data Mapping (Doc ID 2293461.1)

Symptoms

User Defined Text fields in OBIEE Analytics are visible even after removing fields from Unifier Analytics Data Mapping tab.  Due to this report creation can be hindered as only a limited amount of custom fields are allowed for OBIEE reporting.

Steps to Verify Issue

  1. Login to Unifier with appropriate permission to delete user defined fields (initial set up of environment)
  2. Delete selected User Defined Fields
  3. Refresh the scheduled publish, Highlight report in Analytics, and select Schedule.
  4. Attempt to run report in OBIEE Analytics

    Results:  Fields still appear in Analytics, although removed from Unifier
