User Has Three Transactions that Never Clear From The BPM Worklist and are Blank When Opened

There are timesheet transactions that do not disappear from the BPM worklist . User A got a blank page when they opened . The completed transaction notifications remain in User A's worklist after the workaround below even though the transaction is no longer pending.
Give time and labor manager role to the administrator . Do not give this access to all line managers . The administrator goes into the time and labor UI and searches on employee and approves a timesheet. The three transactions are no longer pending
Users expected to be able to approve via the worklist without a blank notification. User's expect that after the administrator approved via the time and labor UI , the notification would be purged from the worklist
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. User A inconsistently gets a blank page when he opens timesheet approval notifications . All timesheets go to project manager instead of line manager. User A is a delegated user.
2. Use the following alternative solution described above.
3. User A opens the BPM worklist and day after day the notifications do not clear.
4. The issue happens inconsistently with other users as well.
