DCL Behavior With Duplicates In POP Up And Cancel Without Selecting A Value.

On : 11.1.11.1.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
While creating or updating a DCL field, if there are duplicate values, a user type the value in the field text box and tab out.

A pop up is opened and if a user doesnt select anything and click cancel, the value remains there in the field and is not getting wiped out. This way upon saving the record, a random record from DCL is getting picked up and saved in the account which is incorrect behavior.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

the value should be wiped out or maintained the old value of the field as the user didnt click ok

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Accounts
2. Create new account
3. For A DCL field where you have duplicate for value ABC, type ABC and tab out => a pop up will appear
4. Click cancel for the pop up
5. Save the record -> ABC is getting saved in the account
