On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

Upload 1,2 GB of Attachements to Accounts

For our productive system we have to upload 1,2 GB of attachements to the accounts until the end of the week. We have written a script which can split the attachements into subdirectories including their files for the mapping. With the script we can define the maximum size of the subdirectories and it works fine with a size of about 5 MB. But if we divide everything into 5 MB junks, we have to do over 600 imports. So do you have a better idea to do this upload? What is the best practice for this scenario?
