Single Type Participant Error "The journal approval process has stopped due to a system error. Contact your help desk. (FUN-720342)"

When user is attempting to route the journals as per the approval setup using Single type participant the following error occurs. "The journal approval process has stopped due to a system error. Contact your help desk. (FUN-720342))".In this case the auto Approval group set up works fine , only the Single approval set up ends in Error .
