Classic UI: "Account" field of "Create Contact" layout is not changing its value when an option is selected from DCL

On : 11.1.10.0.0 version, Accounts, Contacts, Households

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In Classic UI, "Account" field of "Create Contact" layout is not changing its value when an option is selected from DCL.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The field should change its value as per the option chosen in DCL.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Navigate to Manage Contacts,
2. Click “Create Contact”,
3. Write an invalid account name in the Customer field (for example “bla-bla-bla”),
4. Click to the magnifying glass, select an account from the list and click OK,
5. In Create Contact page, the field Customer has the old value (“bla-bla-bla”) and not the new one that I have selected from the list,
6. Fill the mandatory fields and then click Save and Edit,
7. In Edit Contact Page appear the following error message: "You must search and select a valid customer."
8. BUT in Contact Basic Information section from Edit Contact page the field Account has the name of the account that we have selected previously from the list.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot follow the flow for Contact creation properly.
