Purpose

 This document provides an overview of strategic plans and the future direction of Oracle Big Data Discovery Cloud Service.

Scope

Oracle Big Data Discovery Cloud Service (BDDCS) is a visual, intuitive product that allows analysts to find, explore, and transform complex datasets without depending on highly technical resources. Big Data Discovery achieves this by combining visualization, navigation, and powerful text search capabilities on data of any scale. BDDCS is available in the Oracle Cloud and requires the Big Data
Cloud Service (BDCS) which is powered by Apache Spark and Hadoop.
