Symptoms

When attempting to provision users to a Primavera Cloud Service Application (i.e. Primavera P6 Production) using the Cloud Admin tool, the following error occurs:

2017-06-26 20:10:10 GMT [UserResource] - Creating/Assigning Application Access for Users: 1
2017-06-26 20:10:10 GMT [UserResource] - Processing User(1/1): <username>
2017-06-26 20:10:10 GMT [ApplicationProvisionServiceImpl] - Assigning Application Access failed : PrimaveraP6Stage due to Error while creating user Error while deleting user A server exception occurred while trying to perform username token authentication: Invalid user name and/or password.

Steps to Duplicate:

In the Cloud Administration Tool, on the User Administration tab, select the check box for a user account:

  1. Click Manage Application Access
  2. In the Available pane, select one or more applications
  3. Click Add to selected column
  4. Click Select
  5. Click Save
  6. View reported error
