Qn1:On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Manage Project Costs-Allocate Project Costs

Project related purchase order commitments are not Importing into Projects.
 
Qn2:The commitments do not import using the Import Commitments - Internal. The commitments only import when running the Update Project Performance Data.

(a) How do you import internal commitments and what is the intended functionality of importing internal commitments -
     (Navigator> Projects> Costs> Tasks> Process> Import Commitments)

(b) One of the parameters is 'Commitment Source Type' with a LOV of All, External and Internal. What's the purpose of these values?

Please confirm the intended functionality.
 
Qn3:(c) What are the differences between external and an internal commitment.
