BICS : Data Sync Email Notifications Does Not Work 'javax.mail.MessagingException' (Doc ID 2304416.1)

Symptoms

The Data Sync has a built-in login-authentication based email (SMTP) client, which connects to any SMTP login-authenticating server.

So, configured the email administrator account to enable recipients to receive email notifications.
To configure the email sender:

  1. Select the Tools menu, then select Email, and then select Setup
  2. In the Setup dialog box's Email Configuration tab, enter the details for the email address that you want to receive information notifications
  3. Click Send Test Email to test the connection
  4. Click Save.

However, not receiving any email notifications from datasync ,  On clicking test email, the data sync hangs  without any error
