"Strategy Error ... Recognition Problem ..." and Cannot Edit or Save Strategy Alignments in Instantis EnterpriseTrack (Doc ID 2306651.1)

When attempting to edit a Strategy Alignment, the following error occurs.

"Strategy Error. Please correct the errors shown below, and try again.
Recognition problem. Your submission could not be accepted because the information that uniquely identifies it does not match any data in the database."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Instantis EnterpriseTrack as an Administrator
  2. Navigate to the Strategies page
  3. Expand the <Customer Specific> folder
    1. Expand the <Customer Specific> - (Category) Category
    2. Expand the <Customer Specific> - (Sub-Category) Sub Category
  4. Select the <Customer Specific> Strategy
    1. Click the Edit Icon in the Details section
    2. Click the Save Icon
  5. Error is displayed

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot edit or save the affected Strategy Alignment.
