Symptoms

On : 11.12.1.0.0 version, Microsoft Outlook

When attempting to add or modify an address in Outlook, the contact won't sync back to Sales Cloud and the following error occurs.

JBO-27023: Failed to validate all rows in a transaction.JBO-27024: Failed to validate a row with key oracle.jbo.Key[300000017068439 ] in PartySiteUseEOJBO-HZ:::HZ_API_INVALID_LOOKUP: HZ-120113The value for column Purpose must be a value defined in the lookup type PARTY_SITE_USE_CODE.

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. User modifies a Contact in Outlook.
2. OSC Outlook sync occurs.
3. Sync returns with JBO-27023

 
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot add or modify synced Contacts from Outlook.
