NOT GETTING VALUE FROM LOV AUTOMATICALLY WHEN ENTER CONVERTED VALUE IN IE11

In Internet Explorer, when updating the address that has multiple options for zip code/city/county, the options pop up. But before you can choose one, the box disappears and an option is chosen automatically. You can override the city, but it wipes out the zip code. And when you enter the zip code, the options pop up and the incorrect city is chosen again. See screenshot.
