CX Mobile - List of opportunities is inconsistent between web and mobile app

Goal

Why is there a difference between the opportunity data retrieved by CX Mobile and the data returned in the web application?
The application seem to display less data than the web app equivalent. Open opportunities where close date is less than sysdate are not retrieved in Mobile CX
