OAC : ImportError : No module named argparse (Doc ID 2312716.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run proxy_register_ssl_private_key, to register a private key and certificate on the OAC server, tried to run the script and received the following error.

 

User cannot even run collect_diagnostic_logs.py with the same error

Python command used:

$ python /bi/app/public/bin/collect_diagnostic_logs.py /tmp/oac_diag_dump.zip

Error:

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "/bi/app/public/bin/collect_diagnostic_logs.py", line 10, in <module>

from argparse import ArgumentParser

ImportError: No module named argparse

 

The argparse module exists on Python 2.7 but it won't run for some reason.
