Date Filter On The Dashboards Indicators Tab Of Listen & Analyze

We have observed the Date filter on this Tab will actually stay Static even the Week / month of the Calendar changed

For e.g. if we have put the Date filter on "28-Sep", it actually put the End date as "28-Sep" with Start Date as 21-Sep and do the Query.

Whereas, if we do the same on "03-Oct" (i.e. today) then we expect that, it should put End date as "03-Sep" with Start Date as "27-Sep".

But, it doesn't do that we again explicitly select these Start and End dates again. Why is this happening?
