About: Agent Descriptions Erasing When Agent is Disabled

Symptoms

Text entered into the description field for an agent disappears when the agent is disabled.  This can be reproduced as follows:

  1. Access OBI as a BI Administrator
  2. Navigate to the agent and disable the schedule through one of the following steps:
    1. Drop-down on More Details and select More, then select Enable Schedule
    2. Select the link to Edit, then select the Schedule tab and uncheck the box for Enabled
  3. After saving changes, note the description found on the General tab has disappeared
