When attempting to connect to an EPPM database and login to P6 Professional, the following error occurs:

Unable to connect to the database. Please run the Database Configuration tool or contact your administrator.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch P6 Professional and login via P6ProCloudConnect with SAML/SSO authentication.
  2. View error.
