Web Services Repeatedly Fails With the Error "javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: A Server Exception Occured While Trying to Perform Username Token Authentication: Invalid User Name And/or password."

Symptoms

It happens only when LDAP is in use and the maximum OID connections are being reached.

When attempting to use the P6 web service is a custom java language script, the following error occurs.

ERROR

javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: A server exception occured while trying to perform username token authentication: Invalid user name and/or password.

Caused by: org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: A server exception occured while trying to perform username token authentication: Invalid user name and/or password.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Try to login using 6 web services.
2. Observe the error.

This issue is intermittent and does not always reproduce.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot reliably authenticate using P6 Web Services.
