The user in this case found that there were a number of limitations with regard to viewing and managing files in Oracle Content and Experience Cloud Service. For example: the only way to see details about a file is in list view. There is a way to get the information (including the time stamp) by checking the box to the left of the file name, then clicking on the 'More', and then clicking on properties. When the user wants to review multiple files, this method can become cumbersome. Also, the user found that there is no way to exit out of a preview that brings the user back to where the user was in the content list. If the user is in a folder, and has navigated to the 3rd page of content items within that folder and then previews a file, the only way to exit that preview is to click on the file path for the enclosing folder, which then brings the user back to the top of page 1 of files in that folder. Lastly, when renaming multiple files it is necessary to right-click in the gray space to the side of the item, then choose 'Rename' to rename the content item.
None of these methods of managing content in Content and Experience Cloud Service are incorrect or wrong, but some changes may make managing the content more efficient.
